A porcelain vessel that presents a study in industrial contrasts. The dark, machine-finished body is offset by a coiled silver element that winds with unexpected movement. Ribbed spout, bolted base and a lever topped with a pearl-like knob reveal mechanical details and purpose. It reads as engineered. But utilitarian as well.
